 LYLP Mission

Lowell Youth Leadership Program's mission is to connect and engage Lowell youth by empowering them to develop vital life skills and encourage them to lead and thrive through cooperation with each other. LYLP organizational growth will be anchored in our guiding principles and will be used to strengthen our children's relationships within our community.

LYLP’s annual goal is to serve Lowell  youth ages 10-16 by hosting a free summer day camp at the Greater Lowell Technical High School.  LYLP camps will focus on a mind-body connection between mental health and physical health while providing healthy meals to all participants.

Our most recent program had over 30 activities. Featured activities: Dance, Track & Field, Swimming, Basketball, Golf, Art, Robotics, Science, Carpentry, Good Nutrition, Team Building, Financial Acumen, Healthy Relationships, Rock Climbing, Boxing, Yoga, Flag Football.

Our inspirational speakers include: Poets, Doctors, State Representatives, Former Professional Athletes, Coaches, Mental Health Professionals and the Mayor of Lowell.

In addition to the activities and instruction, LYLP provides free transportation, free breakfast and free lunch.

The feedback from LYLP children, parents and the Lowell community is overwhelmingly  positive and humbling!

The LYLP Team is so thankful to our partners, staff, volunteers and the Lowell community!
